For lasting river protection or restoration project wins, you cannot go it alone. Durable restoration projects take interdependent connections between partners, policy, and funding. Meaningful publically celebrated and ecologically significant projects take a blueprint that ultimately looks like a watershed map of collaboration. The foundation of partnerships, policy, and funding takes creativity and time but, the rewards can be well worth it. Audubon is committed to protecting the health of rivers across the Colorado River basin, ecosystems, and sustainable water supplies—values that benefit everyone. We are working across water interests to convene stakeholders, decision-makers, and practitioners to show that water connects rather than separates us.
