Carissa Crawford is a Colorado native, born and raised in Grand Junction, with a deep-seated commitment to the preservation of the Western Slope’s natural landscapes. A graduate of Colorado Mesa University, Carissa earned a double major in Economics and Finance in 2024. During her time at CMU and shortly after, she shared her love for the mountains with others as a ski instructor, a role that deepened her appreciation for outdoor recreation and education.

Currently, Carissa serves as a Loan Officer at Alpine Bank. As a young professional in the banking industry, she is eager to apply her financial background to support the community she has called home her entire life. She joined the board out of a personal mission to ensure that the outdoors remain protected and accessible for her lifetime and for generations to come.

Carissa lives in Grand Junction with her husband and their three dogs: a Golden Retriever, a Black Lab/Golden mix, and a family Border Collie. When she isn’t at the bank, she is likely found exploring the outdoors—whether she is skiing, hiking, mountain biking, or planning her next travel adventure.
