A $300 sponsorship covers the cost of planting one 2–3-inch diameter cottonwood tree, including soil amendments, mulch, and a watering bag to give it the best start.

Your sponsored tree will be planted during a community volunteer planting event in November 2026 at Playa Dos Rios along the Riverfront Trail near the Confluence Center of Colorado. Sponsors are invited to join us at the event and help plant their tree alongside volunteers, making a lasting, hands-on contribution to the restoration of this important riverside habitat.
As a thank you for your support, your name will be announced to attendees and members of the press; you'll be invited to participate in a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the project; and you'll receive a certificate commemorating your contribution.
Your sponsored cottonwood will provide shade, improve wildlife habitat, stabilize riverbanks, and enhance this special community space for generations to come.
