Free Habitat Restoration Workshop on April 25 from 3-5 PM at the Western Colorado Research Center!

Are you looking to improve wildlife habitat on your land? Join the Delta Conservation District, the Colorado Department of Agriculture (CDA) and RiversEdge West (REW) at the Western Colorado Research Center on April 25th for a free workshop! CDA's Paul Kehmeier will share about the process of replacing wildlife habitat after ditches are piped or lined. REW's private Lands Biologist, Christa Brown, will describe habitat restoration efforts including tamarisk and Russian olive removal, native plant species revegetation, and the process of wetland creation to improve wildlife habitat in Western Colorado.
