Join RiversEdge West for a volunteer event at Connected Lakes with Colorado Parks and Wildlife on October 15, 2026 from 9:00 am - 11:00 am.
This event will be at the James M. Robb Colorado River State Park - Connected Lakes Section. We will meet at the picnic tables by the Kingfisher Parking lot here.
At this event we'll be adjusting and installing protective caging around cottonwood trees, pulling weeds, and cutting back pampas grass seed heads. We may also cut back Russian Olive regrowth if the conditions are right.
Light snacks and coffee will be provided. Work will all be outside, so please bring water, proper work attire (we recommend pants, close-toed shoes, and long sleeves), and sun protection. Specialized tools will be provided, but you may also bring your own.
Park entrance fees will be waived for volunteers at this event.
This is a free event, but registration/rsvp is required.
