Join RiversEdge West for a volunteer event at Watson Island with the City of Grand Junction on May 28, 2026 from 8 am - 10 am.
At this event we will be supporting recent plantings at Watson Island by watering plants, pulling weeds, and installing protective fencing around the planting site.
Light snacks and coffee will be provided. Work will all be outside, so please bring water, proper work attire (we recommend pants, close-toed shoes, and long sleeves), and sun protection. Specialized tools will be provided, but you may also bring your own.
The event will be at Watson Island, 639 Struthers Ave, Grand Junction, CO 81501. We will meet at the parking lot here (next to the Western Colorado Botanical Gardens).
